The buoys show a good amount of long period energy from the south, nonetheless there's not much on the webcam, other than the occasional small set. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Hanalei and Waimea show very small long period energy of WNW energy. Below are the maps of August 28 though 31 that show the fetch that generated it. At the beginning the position of the storm was too west for Maui, but after a couple of days, it moved in a much better position. Quick movement across the great ray circle and lack of intensity are going to make for at most a couple of feet 12s  tomorrow and the day after.

The windswell instead jumped up to almost 6ft 10s and it's going to be the most dominant energy in the water also today. Home guess for Hookipa is waist to chest high. Bigger on eastern exposures.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
