Friday 1 3 25 morning call

Hookipa yesterday late afternoon.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore
Lanai
      • 2.5ft
        , 14s, SW 225º

SW swell looks better at Lanai than it does on the cam. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

NW001

            • 5ft
              , 13s, NW 320º

Hanalei

    • 3.6ft

Waimea

            • 5.6ft
              , 13s, NW 315º
            • 2.4ft
              , 11s, NW 325º

Pauwela

            • 8.6ft
              , 14s, NNW 330º
            • 2.8ft
              , 9s, ENE 65º
            • 3.5ft
              , 5s, ENE 70º

The long period pulse I mentioned yesterday arrived bigger than predicted and it's still showing 8.6ft 14s at Pauwela and it should slowly decline throughout the day. Home guess for Hookipa is around double overhead plus and no wind in the morning.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
