No southerly energy at the buoys, but the Kihei coast could get occasional sets from the westerly swell described below. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Today the distinction between WNW and NW swells I discussed yesterday is more clear at the buoys. WNW is not a good direction for Maui's north shore. Home guess for Hookipa is around head high to slightly overhead with occasional inconsistent bigger sets.
