Thursday 9 17 20 morning call

A couple of days ago I went E-foiling thanks to e-foilhawaii. They operate on the west side and have Flite e-foils. If you don't know how to foil, it's a great way to learn. If you know how to foil, it's a lot of fun nonetheless. The company seems well organized and the service was excellent. The instructors explain you the simple operations, place the boards in the water for you, take you out in deeper water and follow your progression. Here's a small clip that should give you an idea of the gorgeousness of it all.
Btw, at the moment they're giving Kamahaina rates that are much less than what's on their website (hundred bucks!). Hit them up if interested and please mention you found them through my blog.

4am significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers

1.2ft @ 15s from 189° (S)
1.1ft @ 12s from 183° (S)

Lanai

1.3ft @ 15s from 192° (SSW)
1ft @ 12s from 186° (S)

Small but long period energy at the buoys, could be one of those days with inconsistent, but fun size and not too crowded waves. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Pauwela

2.8ft @ 8s from 60° (ENE)
1.7ft @ 5s from 81° (E)

Flat.
