One foot 15s of a new swell is at the buoys. Below are the maps of August 1 to 5 that show the fetch that generated it. Nothing crazy, but also this week should have some waves.

The easterly windswell is still tiny, but today there's also a couple of feet 8s from the north. Below is the fetches map of August 4th that shows the weak fetch that generated it.
Hurricane Dora has intensified again and is currently a category 4. Below is a satellite shot that shows its remarkably well defined eye.
Dora will pass well to our south. This is the predicted trajectory from this page.
The passage of Dora will intensify the pressure gradient and that will cause the trades to blow strong starting tomorrow with a peak on Tuesday. The related easterly windswell will peak to around 10ft 8s according to Surfline while Pat Caldwell put 13ft 9s in his table for that day. Either way, it's going to be a hairy day for the downwind community. Dora will also cause a brief south swell that is predicted to peak late Tuesday into early Wednesday morning.
Thanks to the very small northerly energy, Hookipa shouldn't be completely flat today.
