South shore
No southerly energy at the buoys, but there should be a small Tasman Sea swell in the water. This photo of Cloudbreak was posted on the 26th by Tavarua Island Resort.


Unfortunately, this seems to be one of those swells that loose most of their energy in the travel. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

NW swell peaked yesterday slightly under predictions and should hold pretty steady today. It's definitely smaller at the upstream buoys, but the usual shift to a more northerly direction (330 at the NW buoy) should at least increase the consistency throughout the day. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half and once again clean conditions due to the lack of wind.
