New long period pulse is adding to the fading swell which is now down to 12-13s. It comes from the partially angular spreading fetch in the maps of July 28 through 30 below. The mix of energies should make for another great day of waves on the south shore. And the biggest swell of the season so far will arrive towards the end of the week.

Very small southerly energy at the buoys. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Slivers of NW energy at the buoys (coming from the small and weak fetch in the maps of July 29 and 30 below), but the easterly windswell will still be the dominant energy in the water. Home guess for Hookipa is around waist high with occasionally bigger sets and with possible tiny NW lines in the late afternoon.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
