Wednesday 8 6 25 morning call

Kanaha yesterday.

Yesterday I wanted to post the link to a live streaming from Teahupoo, but by mistake I posted the link  it to another epic session that happened last week. The real streaming was here and this instead was the streaming of the Padang Padang contest that was held also yesterday in Bali. Seems like waves are firing everywhere.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore
Barbers
      • 2.7ft
        , 14s, S 180º

      • 1.2ft
        , 11s, S 190º

Lanai
      • 2.3ft
        , 14s, S 180º

      • 0.4ft
        , 22s, SSW 210º

Back to back swell n.2 is down to 14s at the buoys but still with decent size waves, while Lanai already shows a very low 22s reading of the next big one that will peak in the weekend. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Mokapu
            • 5ft
              , 11s, E 80º
            • 4ft
              , 6s, ENE 60º
Easterly windswell only at the buoys plus 5ft 11s from the remnant of Gil. Home guess for Hookipa is around knee to waist high. Much bigger on eastern exposures.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
