Old south swell down to small 11-12s readings while a new small 18s one appears at the buoys. It comes from the Tasman Sea fetch that happened Sept 24 and 25 in the maps below. Surfline only predicts 1ft 16s, but it might end up being a bit bigger than that, although in an inconsistent manner.

Short period N energy stubbornly continues to be the dominating energy in the water while the small NW one I discussed yesterday is showing almost 2ft 14s locally (better than predicted). Home guess for Hookipa is around chest to head high with occasional bigger sets.
