Small 11s period NW energy at the local buoys while the NW buoys show a rise of 9s period energy that should arrive locally in the late afternoon. The maps below of April 1 and 2 show the small close by fetch that generated it. The same fetch intensified and became much larger (see today's map below) and is generating a large swell that will start arriving tomorrow afternoon and peak over the weekend. Home guess for Hookipa this morning is flat to occasionally chest high and clean. Should be a bit bigger by sunset.
