Monday 7 12 21 morning call

I took this photo of a winger at Hookipa yesterday at sunset.

4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers

1.9ft @ 11s from 189° (S)
1.4ft @ 15s from 182° (S)

Lanai

1.7ft @ 12s from 192° (SSW)
1.3ft @ 15s from 185° (S)

South swell still lingering around at 11-12s (it's been eight days!) while both buoys also sense some small 15s energy. Below are the maps of July 4 through 8. On the first map, I put an arrow to indicate the fetch that I believe to be the source for the 15s energy. Nothing particularly strong/wide and not long lasting. The rest of the days also don't show anything particularly exciting, but it shouldn't go completely flat anytime soon. Slightly better fetches after that, but we'll analyze that later this week.

Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Small windswell will make for small waves at Pavillions.
