Saturday 11 18 23 morning call

Kaa yesterday.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore
Barbers
          • 2.8ft
            , 14s, S 180º
Solid southerly energy at Barbers. So solid that it looks suspicious. That's when Lanai would be very useful to confirm. I found this fetch on November 11 and 12 as possible source.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Waimea

    • 1.4ft
      , 15s, NW 315º

Pauwela

    • 6.6ft
      , 13s, NE 50º
    • 2.1ft
      , 5s, NE 50º

NE swell will still be dominant today, as a new small long period NW swell shows up at Waimea. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half and calm winds in the morning.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
