Bit of a transition day locally as the old northerly energy is almost gone, but there's a new moderate NW swell that will rise throughout the day. Below are the maps of Dec 9 and 10 indicating the westerly fetch that generated it (4ft 16s predicted by Surfline by mid day, but it seems to me that is going to be a lot smaller than that). Meanwhile the easterly windswell went up to pretty solid levels. Home guess for Hookipa is around chest to head high and windy. Bigger mid day and on eastern exposures.
