New long period small swell is at Barbers. It comes from the fetch in the maps of August 1 through 4 below. The same area will see a much stronger fetch in the following days that will generate a larger swell that will arrive mid next week.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Hanalei

    • 0.6ft
      , 12s, NNW 345º

Waimea

            • 0.5ft
              , 13s, N 10º

Pauwela

            • 1.7ft
              , 8s, NE 40º
            • 2.3ft
              , 5s, ENE 60º
            • 0.6ft
              , 10s, NE 55º
NE windswell almost down to nothing while Hanalei and Waimea show half a foot of northerly energy coming from the weak fetch that happened on August 3rd and 4th below. Home guess for Hookipa is knee to waist high with occasional bigger sets.

Wind map at noon (2 days old prediction). The other ones can be found here.
