A baby centipede.

Now I appreciate you won't like my policy on life BUT if I had a web that size in my home I wouldn't ask anyone to tea before I had removed the bugger. Have you thought of going round your home with a mop and duster or, I suspect, those are tools that don't exist in either your vocabulary or cupboards!

Good film though - I'm on the side of the centipede and just hope it escaped even though it might have had to limp.

No wind or waves?

I like the deep social commentary and ending with the to the point "I thought he was F*cked." Laughed out loud when I heard that.

I agree with Mater X though. Dude - you need to do some cleaning. Although having lived in Haiku, it's impossible to totally get rid of the creepy crawlies.

Spiders really don't bother me and I don't like killing them.
At one point I started catching them by the legs to relocate them outside, but often the legs detached from the body and I was like:"OMG, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!"

That's my excuse not to clean too often...

GP,
It's not that I don't appreciate your film and the social commentary, but I kept getting distracted by the sound of wind in the background. Can you tell I haven't windsurfed in more than a month???

Funny, in Maui I pretty much don't kill anything around the house, but here in Portland I'm willing to nuke about any bug. And the stuff in Maui is about ten time sastier--or at least spookier. At my house I have the centipedes that are about the size of a good cigar. Fascinating buggers.

I love the cane spiders, they're so fast. Not so wild about crab spiders. I like the huge black bees, and I could watch dragonfies for hours. I'd love to have their equipment.

If you need to move something outside the easiest way is to put a wineglass over it--move slowly and they won't see it coming. Press it flat to the wall, then slide a piece of paper under it so you can carry it outside. I'm a pro at this.
