Wednesday 4 22 20 morning call

"4.30pm windsurfing" was the call I shared with Russ yesterday morning. I was right, but only for him... too light/difficult for me, so I took photos.

4am significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
3.2ft @ 14s from 205° (SSW)

Lanai
2.3ft @ 15s from 196° (SSW)

South swell continues. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
NW101
9.3ft @ 13s from 310° (WNW)
3.4ft @ 10s from 315° (NW)

Hanalei
6.7ft @ 13s from 328° (NW)

Waimea
5.9ft @ 13s from 317° (NW)

Pauwela
4.8ft @ 12s from 318° (NW)

Medium period NW swell picked up during the afternoon yesterday and should slowly keep rising all day today and tomorrow. Below are the graphs of NW and Pauwela together with the Surfline forecast, which, as usual, is late. This time seems even more than 12h. Hookipa should be head to head and a half, I will probably report early.

Wind map at noon (the other ones can be found at link n.-2 of GP's meteo websites list in the right column).
