Hey Giampaolo,
Awesome shots, man! They're all great with #2821 as my favorite. I emailed the link to everyone in my Long Island Windsurfer yahoo group (150+ members). In fact, your pictures are better than the Maui Windsurfing Blog.
In 99 I stayed at Robby Seegers place. Then he was still in the pwa competition and I guese 20 kilo's lighter than on your picture. Any idea what he's up to right now?
Ps, Chears for staying on Maui!! I wanted to but did not, back in 99. Today I still work my but off in the IT. Give me some advise....
Robby Seeger is still one of the most incredible water men in Maui. He doesn't compete anymore, but he surfs/sails Jaws and he's always out at Lanes when there's Kona wind and big waves. I saw some amazing pictures of him swimming naked hugging a dolphin underwater. It looked like they were making love. Quite impressive. And I saw him body surfing (only with fins) in big waves at Hookipa. That guy is half fish. Advice? Happiness is a state of mind. Living in a paradise like Maui helps, but you can find your paradise anywhere. It just takes a little more to get there... I'm curious. How did you end up on my blog? Ciao.
Born and raised in Italy, I became an engineer and worked 11 years in the IT industry. Sick of that, in 2001 I wanted to take a year off and spend it in Maui, the best windsurfing spot in the world. Not only I'm still here (in Maui), but I also got into surfing. And the stoke is flying high. Life is too short to work 8 hours a day...
