Hookipa yesterday morning was quite spectacular.

Lanai shows 2ft 14s from 205 plus almost a foot 18s from 190. This new long period swell comes from the fetch indicated in the maps of October 18 and 19 here below. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

NW swell continues at the buoys, now coming from a slightly more north direction. Home guess for Hookipa is head and a half to double and clean with no wind in the early morning.
