No southerly energy at Barbers, but there's waves in Kihei, could be a wrap from the west. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Elevated NW energy continues pretty solid at the buoys. There have been a fetch after another with the related swells arrival spacing 1-2 days and often overlapping. Below are the maps of December 26 through 28 that show the one that made the NW buoy jump to 14ft 15s overnight. Home guess for Hookipa is around double overhead plus and light wind in the early morning with a increase in the afternoon to the XL category.
