Friday 1 19 24 morning call

Lots of action at the harbor yesterday.

Eddie.

Didn't go as planned.

Hookipa at sunset still had some size.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore
Barbers
            • 1.7ft
              , 8s, S 170º
There's waves also today on the south shore. Not sure if it's leftover kona windswell (unlikely) or a groundswell that Barbers doesn't register, but it looks pretty solid. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

NW energy came down at the buoys, but should still provide fun size waves. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and half and no wind in the morning.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
