The SSW energy at the buoys comes from the fetch indicated in the maps of Sept 16 and 17 below. Still not much on the cam.

A new NW swell is rising at the buoys. Below are the maps of Sept 21 through 23 that show the fetch that generated it. Home guess for Hookipa in the morning is around waist high of windswell waves with occasional inconsistent long period well organized bigger sets.The sets should get bigger and more consistent throughout the day until sunset when it should be well overhead (Surfline calls for 4ft 17s at sunset).
