Sunday 12 21 25 morning call

Hookipa yesterday morning.

Hookipa yesterday at sunset.

Lanai
      • 1.6ft

Lanai shows twice as much the long period southerly energy that Barbers show. It comes from the small fetch that happened on Dec 12 and 13 below.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Not much more NW energy at the buoys, now it's all about the N one that comes from the fetch in the maps of Dec 17 through 20 below. It should slowly decline over the next few days. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half to occasionally double and clean in the early morning before the trades return after a week of absence due to the front that stalled over Oahu.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
