Wednesday 12 31 25 morning call

Thanks James and Eddie for the donations.

The last week of the year is when I remind the readers that they can show their appreciation for the work done in 2025 with the Paypal Donate button on the right or via my Venmo account @Giampaolo-Cammarota.

Hookipa yesterday.

My Sports Tracker app says that in 2025 I did a total of 320 downwind runs, all on the north shore: 204 with the wing (windsurfing), 114 Foil Drive assisted SUP foiling (mountain biking) and 2 with the Plume (kitesurfing). I don't keep track of my other foiling disciplines (FD assisted SUP foiling on waves, winging on waves and freeride pluming). The picture clearly shows the best months for downwinding in Maui: May through September.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore

No southerly energy at the buoys. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.
