Monday 5 25 26 morning call

Hookipa yesterday.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore
Barbers
      • 1.7ft
        , 15s, S 170º
      • 1.7ft
        , 13s, S 190º

Lanai
      • 2ft
        , 13s, S 185º
      • 0.8ft
        , 11s, S 190º
Also today the buoys show a decent amount of southerly energy (especially Barbers), but not much on the cam. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Hanalei

      , 11s, NNW 330º

            • 1ft
              , 12s, NNW 330º

Pauwela

            • 5.5ft
              , 9s, NE 45º
            • 4.3ft
              , 5s, NE 55º
            • 1.3ft
              , 11s, NNW 345º
Very small NW energy at the buoys, also today the dominant energy will be the NE windswell. Home guess for Hookipa is around chest to head high with occasional bigger sets. Bigger on eastern exposures.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
