A new pulse of NW energy is rising locally with Pauwela showing a small 17s reading (Surfline calls for 3ft 15s at sunset), together with a still noticeable 6ft 8s of ENE windswell. Home guess for Hookipa is around head to head and a half with bigger sets in the afternoon. Also today Hookipa will be closed for the State High School surfing championship.
