        , 17s, SSW 200º
      • 1.8ft
        , 11s, SSW 205º
Both buoys show 1.8ft 11s of southerly energy while Lanai also shows a 17s reading that marks the beginning of a long lasting long period swell that will build in the next few days. It comes from the fetch that happened in the maps of May 9 through 13 below. Surfline calls for 1.5ft 16s at sunset.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

            • 3.2ft

Small NW energy continues to trickle down at the buoys, while the easterly windswell is pretty solid. Home guess for Hookipa is around chest to head high.
