Friday 5 24 24 morning call

Very small southerly energy, including the new tiny long period readings at the buoys. Below are the maps that show the weak/distant fetches that probably generated them. The black stick indicates one in the Tasman Sea and the direction from such a fetch is around 220. The red stick indicates another small one which direction would be around 200. Both of them lacked intensity and consistency (they need to be in place for a few days in order to get a decent swell from down under).
Absolutely nothing to be excited about, in fact it looks pretty flat out there. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Easterly windswell only in the water again. Home guess for Hookipa is around waist to occasionally chest high.
