Thursday 5 23 24 morning call

South shore yesterday.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore

      • 0.7ft
        , 11s, S 175º

Long lasting south swell is finally down to very small 13s readings. Barbers shows a small 17s reading from 200 which I couldn't really find a fetch for (the one I found was from 220-230). Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Pauwela

            • 5.5ft
              , 9s, ENE 75º
            • 2.6ft
              , 6s, ENE 70º
            • 2.2ft
              , 4s, E 80º

9s windswell is the main source of energy and today it comes from 75 degrees and as such it should hit Hookipa a bit more than yesterday. Home guess for Hookipa is around waist high to chest high with occasionally bigger sets. Bigger on eastern exposures.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
