Sunday 8 25 24 morning call

No photos from yesterday, I found this image that I grabbed somewhere some time ago and saved it as "by Ren McGann".

7am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore

Very small southerly energy at the buoys and nothing on the webcam. It is possible that Hone will send waves from the south for a limited amount of time. No idea of what that time window will be, could be during the night. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Very high easterly windswell at Pauwela thanks to the increased winds due to Hone's passage to our south. Home guess for Hookipa is around waist high to shoulder high with occasionally bigger sets. MUCH bigger on eastern exposures.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
