The reason because I'm posting this photo again is that I just got the May issue of Windsurfing magazine. It's a really good magazine with stories and photos of top sailors sailing Jaws as well as of "normal" windsurfers. Overall it shows why and how windsurfing is a great sport.
On this issue, there is this photo on a double page.
Here's what they wrote:
Soul Long
On any given day the editors of Windsurfing look at hundreds of images of wave sailing. Hard driving bottom turns, huge spray off the lip, arching back loops and floating aerials. But few captured our attention quite like this image of Maui resident Giampaolo Cammarota on a light-wind day, catching mast-high waves on his custom 12'6'' sailboard. Why? It's got soul. He's cool, calm, collected - despite the fact that he's heading upwind into a closeout section. On a longboard. "Wave sailing on that board is more about style and feel than radical turns", says Cammarota, who has been sailing the Jeff Timpone custom for over two years. As for the ride - did he make it? Absolutely. And he was stoked.
All true, folks... but for the calmness. I was actually shitting in my wetsuite...
Later on in the magazine they also mention the address of this website. If any of the readers made the effort of checking it out... you guys are welcome to (my) paradise!

I told you, sei un mito!
Thanks brah! Sopratutto di me stesso...
