lost gear

Two boards were lost Thursday at Hookipa. If you found them down the coast, email me (address on the right) and I can get you in touch with the owners.
Also, Juan found a boom at Kanaha a few weeks ago. Call him at 298 9317 and provide a description.
Somebody lost a Tecnolimits carbon boom at Hookipa on the parking lot yesterday. Email in the comments.
Sharon didn't lose/find anything, but she did a nice Maui sightseeing post.

GP,
OT but I was trying to find that video in which you used a song probably called "Malaga". Liked the song and was trying to find the artist. Do you remember??

We have had some good luck finding lost boards lately. They had phone #'s written on them. I hope the ones you have posted had a # to call.

Ah-ha!
Malaga is an old song of a cheese (you should check the lyrics!) old italian singer called Fred Bongusto. Youtube its name and you'll find plenty. "Una rotonda sul mare" is one of the most famous.

Ahh - better yet, "Spaghetti a Detroit"

I'm totally fascinated GP - how does someone lose something as big as a board?

Anne, it's not that they forget it on the beach (well, they do that too!), but it gets disconnected by the sail in the water and the wind blows it quickly away...

I found a boardbag that got blown under my car today at Hookipa. I gave it to the lifeguards. --Chico.
