Kane was using a Signature Albatross 210, which is a relatively flat, "pumping style" foil, like the new GL line from GoFoil that was presented later in the day at Hi-Tech. See how flat the last three blue ones are compared to the other much more curved and thicker surfy ones (which are now lighter, btw)?
Today there will be a GoFoil demo day which should start around noon at the east end of Ukumehame Beach Park. I've been out of the foiling game for the last three months, so I haven't tried any of those yet. But I will today!
4am significant buoy readings
