Sunday 3 6 22 morning call

Hookipa yesterday morning. Photo by Patrick Wardle.

Hookipa yesterday at sunset.

3-4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers is mostly reading NW wrap and can't be used to detect small southerly energy. Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
NW101

5.4ft @ 13s from 311° (NW)
4.4ft @ 10s from 350° (N)

Hanalei

5.8ft @ 13s from 320° (NW)
4.7ft @ 11s from 22° (NNE)

Waimea

3.8ft @ 14s from 322° (NW)
3.1ft @ 10s from 24° (NNE)
3.1ft @ 12s from 331° (NNW)

Pauwela

5.9ft @ 13s from 327° (NW)
3.5ft @ 9s from 33° (NE)

NW swell is declining and now down to 13s, but still at a fun size. Shorter period NE energy is in the mix too. Home guess for Hookipa is head to head and a half and relatively clean.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
