what a change!

I'm going to start this post with a photo I took yesterday at Hookipa.
I posted it on Facebook with the title: "Lake Hookipa!"

Today it was all another story.
Can't believe so many windsurfers were surprised by this swell. I'm gonna call it the "Windguru Deceived Syndrome".
I could cure it by explaining why it happens, but I've given the WDS speech too many times to my customers already this week and I can't be bothered...
Sorry.

Looks slightly different, doesn't it? Kai Lenny.

Katie the cutie is on the island. Here she's having a chat with Boujmaa and the photographer was lucky enough to catch her eyes. Kind of a funny face, but those eyes are something else. She's an Irish doctor and a very sweet girl.

This is for those who want to know how the 2013 sails look like. I feel a weird sense of strong disapproval for this, but can't really explain why... so here we go. North 2013. They were having a photoshoot and that helicopter bugged the hell out of me. So loud! I like helicopters only when they shoot me... not that it happens all that often! LOL

All those zoomed in turns never show how crowded the place can get. Ricardo... and 8 other friends!

My first session was very early at Hookipa. At the beginning we were four: Voget, Fernandez, Browsinho and me, I think.
Other than enjoying the excellent company, I also thoroughly enjoyed the waves, that were very cleen indeed. I'm trying a board that is super fast and I was a bit all over the place. I caught so many waves and had a serious blast.
Sunset session at Kanaha wasn't quite as exciting, but not even remotely close to boring either.

I noticed that when the time for leaving approaches, the whales do this very often.
Yes, they're waving goodbye.

My friend Alessandro made a nice interview with the blog author.
He did a very good job at summarizing my answers. I like it a lot.
Funny how he says that I used to work in the Hi-Tech industry...
How ironical is it that now I work at a surf shop called Hi-Tech?!

Tomorrow is another day. Should be fun too.

Last, and most definitely least, here's a couple of shots of the blog author taken from this gallery of Jimmie Hepp.

Hey Cammar! How was Levi´s tri fin??

very little rocker,so extremely fast but not the turniest board in the world. Still trying to decide if I want to get it or not.

Great pictures. Thanks.
I like how Ricardo's board says "single thruster" but it is clearly a quad :)

Interesting to see that he is using so little rocker. It must be very short then to make it turnier... Do you have any clew of the specs? Great blog by the way. First time I comment. But have been following it for several years now...

Atlantic, a guy like Levi gets at least a new board every month. Each single one is different. This might just as well be a low rocker experiment. He told me he's using more rocker lately.
