Wednesday 6 15 22 morning call

Kanaha yesterday.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers

0.5ft at 14s SSW 200º
0.2ft at 18s SSW 200º

Almost no southerly energy at Barbers. The 18s reading is a sign of a very low long period Tasman Sea energy that should increase tomorrow. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Waimea
1.8ft @ 9s from 346° (NNW)

Mokapu

3.7ft @ 8s from 87° (E)
2.3ft @ 5s from 75° (ENE)

Almost nothing also on the north shore, calling for close to flat conditions. Some waves on eastern exposures.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
