Wednesday 6 29 22 morning call

Hookipa yesterday.

In the meantime that I eventually edit yet another video that will interest an extremely little number of people (a comparison between Armstrong A+ and non A+ 85cm masts), here's an unedited clip from yesterday's downwind run n.2. Excellent conditions.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers
3.4ft at 15s S 190º

The second pulse of this long lasting south swell must have arrived, as the period went back up to 15s.
Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Mokapu
5.2ft at 7s ENE 75º

Surfline is discontinuing on of the main reasons why I pay for the subscription: the page with all the buoy readings. If you are a subscriber too and don't like that, please send them an email about it.
Windswell only in the water, home guess for Hookipa is around waist high.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.

Fetches map
(circles legend: red: direct aim, blue: angular spreading, black: blocked, yellow: possibly over the ice sheet) from Windy.
