Friday 12 5 25 morning call

Hookipa yesterday.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore

No southerly energy at the buoys, but some inconsistent sets on the cam. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

The moderate NW swell I discussed yesterday is at the buoys while a new longer period one is building in the background. Home guess for Hookipa is around head to head and a half, possibly becoming double overhead at sunset.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
