NNW swell is still pretty high at the closer buoys, but the NW buoy reading indicates that it should be trending down throughout the day. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half.
Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.

NW swell turned NNW and it's pretty high at the buoys. Home guess for Hookipa is head and two thirds to double and relatively clean conditions. Good direction for Honolua too.

Pauwela
New NW swell on the rise all day. Below are the maps of March 26 through 28. I put a black arrow on the NW fetch and a yellow arrow on the fetch that generated the short period NE energy we had in the water yesterday and and is still lingering today.
Below are the graphs of NW001 and Pauwela, together with the Surfline forecast. Notice how this one was predicting 3ft 15s at 6am, which is exactly what Pauwela reads at that time. It should reach 5ft 13s by sunset.
Home guess for Hookipa is head to head and a third to start the day with and getting progressively bigger throughout the day. Light wind till around 9am.
Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here. (one day old prediction)

Pauwela
Mostly N to NE short period energy at the buoys. The N one shows 7.2ft 8s but I have to base my home guess for Hookipa on Pauwela, so I'm calling for chest to head high and relatively clean thanks to the lack of wind until around 9am. It might get a bit bigger in the afternoon, IF those 7.2ft 8s make it here, but at 8s the energy decays very quickly with travel.

Barbers
With a non-sense reading of 4.9ft 0s and no signs of the southerly energy present in the water (as shown by the SE and SW buoys) I think we can consider the Surfline Barbers readings unreliable. As a matter of fact, here's the readings of the NOAA page of the buoy (which I never prefer, as it doesn't separate the different swells in the water).
Plenty energy all day yesterday (some head high sets on the cam). Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Pauwela
New small NW swell is in the water, but nothing to get particularly excited about. Below are the maps of Mar 18 to 21, which I used already on the 21st to show (with a black arrow) the fetch that generated the previous (much bigger) NW swell. On the same collage, this morning I added a yellow arrow to indicate the fetch that generated this new one. As you can see, not a particularly big nor strong fetch and very far away, hence the small amount of energy at the buoys.
Home guess for Hookipa is around head to head and a third high, mostly made by the peaky short period NNE energy together with some NW lines in the mix. Still stormy.
