The 2.6ft 17s at Barbers come from the fetch in the maps of Sept 11 through 14 below. The swell doesn't look particularly good on the webcams though, not even at Ala Moana (on the left) if not occasionally.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

The easterly windswell picked back up quickly, but it's from 80 degrees, so mostly traveling parallel to the north shore. Home guess for Hookipa is waist to occasionally chest high. Bigger on eastern exposures.
