strange days

Finally I found the time to edit the footage I took with the helmet stick on March 31st (last day of waves at Lowers, I think).

I think this is the best GoPro windsfuring video I've ever done. It's the one that gives you the closer idea of how the real thing feels like.

INSTRUCTIONS
The music is killer, so I strongly recommend to select the 720p definition, start the video and immediately pause it so it can load.
In the meantime, connect some good speakers, get yourself a cold one, lay down on your couch, do whatever you need to relax to the most, eliminate all sources of noise and distraction and when the video is fully loaded start it and enjoy!

That's the video I got out of the footage I collected in a single day of sailing (clearly two sessions: morning and afternoon) of an average (for the Maui standards) wave sailor like me.
Now imagine the video that would result editing Jason Polakow's top 10 sessions of the year...

The Strange Days are slowly coming...

Very nice GP. How comfortable was your helmet set up?

GP, that clip sums up my past two weeks at Maui so well! I had one of those days at Lowers like in your vid and my smile was from ear to ear! Did some nice aerials too (and those were my first ones). Smiled even the few times I got washed :). Thanks for the vid - thanks to the angle, your sailing and the wave it gives a lot of feeling what it's all about.

Thanks everybody for the comments.

Yo Dave, I had two two-hours sessions and by the end of the day my neck muscles were a bit sore...
Next time I won't wear it for longer than two hours.
The worse was when I had to swim for my gear.
Head down was uncomfortable so I went for my usual backstroke and that was some additional stress for the neck muscles.
Overall, it was worth the soreness, which went away after 24 hours...

This is awesome GP! I got goose bumps at the opening with everyone entering the water at 11:00. It's like when your parents told you that it was OK to start opening presents on Xmas morning. What a sport this is!
