Sunday 4 3 22 morning call

Dylan Fish coming in after a flawless session in massive waves up the coast yesterday. Don't try this at home.

This shot taken by Bill Boyum shows Dave Kalama, Shep Nelson, Jeremy Riggs and Tomo launching at Maliko for a SUP foiling downwind run that must have been wild. Don't try this at home either.

5-6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
No southerly energy at Barbers. Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Pauwela

8.3ft @ 8s from 72° (ENE)
6.4ft @ 14s from 330° (NW)

Long period NW swell peaked yesterday and today should be gradually declining all day. The ocean is a mess because of the strong trades and the 8ft 8s of windswell that came with them. Home guess for Hookipa is big and stormy, seek for sheltered places.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
