NW swell came up nicely yesterday evening (see pictures above), but didn't quite reach the 8ft 12s Surfline prediction for this morning. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half to double and clean wind conditions in the morning.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.

The gate at Hookipa is supposed to be opened at 5:30 am. At 6:15, it was still locked shut.
And the chain was cut, the gate opened. Bravo!
