The buoys show new long period southerly energy. It probably comes from the fetch that happened in the map of April 28 below.  It was a one day fetch and shouldn't get any bigger than it is today.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

New very small 14s NW pulse is at the buoys. So small that the NW buoys don't even record it. Home guess for Hookipa is around waist to occasionally head high, mostly thanks to the easterly windswell.
