The tail of a weak front is on the islands (see satellite picture below). It brings short period northerly energy and stormy conditions with it. Below are the maps of Nov 7 through 9 showing the fetch that generated it (black arrow). The red arrow shows a much more remote NW fetch, the associated long period swell will arrive around Wednesday. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half to double and stormy, with breezy NE trades.
