XL NW swell peaked yesterday and today is going to be slowly declining. 8ft 13s plus other periods at Pauwela will still make for big waves at Hookipa in the double double overhead range and stormy.

I had a picture of Hookipa yesterday morning, but I deleted it by mistake. The wind maps were wrong and the onshores didn't pick until noon, so it was actually very clean all morning.

The kind of day in which it doesn't really matter how big the waves are, as it will be onshore all day. The 16ft 16s reading at the NW buoy shows the third XL swell that will start arriving tonight and will peak tomorrow. Home guess for Hookipa is head and half to double and very stormy.
