12 3 14 morning call

4am main swell buoy readings:

Maui north shore (indicative of what's in the water on Maui's north shore)
8.4ft @ 13s from 18° (NNE)
3ft @ 4s from 57° (ENE)
2.7ft @ 10s from 19° (NNE)

West lanai Maui north shore (indicative of what's in the water on Maui's south shore)
2.2ft @ 13s from 290° (WNW)
0.7ft @ 5s from 272° (W)
0.7ft @ 7s from 247° (WSW)

Ohi yo yoi! 8.4f 13s from 18 that's a lot of energy you guys!
The buoy came up during the night as the surfline graph shows below.
In addition to the whole west side, there's at least 3-4 other places on the north shore that work great with such direction, picking one will be tough today... :)

And since the wind will be a late afternoon business, at least according to the 2pm map below, I might as well try to surf them all!

Have fun in the sun everyone!
