More SUP foiling and windfoiling for me yesterday. These are photos by Alex Aguera from that magic session at the harbor two days ago.
Brother Chris pumping his way in one of those double ups by the Jetty (looks like someone photoshopped out the foil).
And making the drop on the inside section.
4am significant buoy readings
South shore
W
2ft @ 15s from 181° (S)
SW
2.2ft @ 14s from 201° (SSW)
SE
2.6ft @ 15s from 166° (SSE)
Lovely long period energy at the outer buoys should provide some decent waves on the south shores today.
North shore
N
4.4ft @ 10s from 56° (ENE)
Pauwela
3ft @ 10s from 22° (NNE)
Still energy from the NNE today (trending ENE), enjoy it until it lasts because soon it's only gonna be only windswell.
Wind map at noon shows some light trades.
North shore has two very weak fetches in the map on the right. So weak that I didn't even circled in the map on the left, north shore going very small after today.
Fortunately the south shore offers a pretty decent fetch for the third day in a row. As the buoys show, there's already long period southerly energy in the water (from previous fetches), but it should get bigger starting Sunday.
Morning sky.
