BTW until I saw Pat's surf report, I had never heard of the penguin bank (and it's apparent impact on Oahu surf). Had you?
"Mid Monday on southern shores has breakers near to above average for exposures facing the swell out of 160-170 degrees and not influenced by the Penguin Bank."
