New moderate long period NW swell is rising at the upstream buoys and will do so also locally throughout the day (Surfline calling for 2.6ft 16s by the end of the day). Below are the maps of November 25 through 28 that show the fetch that generated it (black stick). It also shows the much closer and smaller low that generated the 4.6ft 9s from 30 degrees that will be the dominant energy in the water in the morning (red stick). Home guess for Hookipa is chest high in the morning, possibly bigger in the afternoon. The daily fetch map down below shows a local low that formed just north of the islands  killing the trades and bringing some rain.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.

NW swell disappeared at the NW buoys, but it still lingers at the local ones for another day. Home guess for Hookipa is head to head and a half and clean conditions due to the light offshores in the morning.
