Solid NNE 12s energy continues at the buoys while a new NW swell fills in. Below are the maps of December 13 though 16 that show the fetch that generated it (black stick). The fetch indicated by the red stick on the last map shows the fetch that made for the big NNE waves yesterday (smaller today). Home guess for Hookipa is head and a half to double and stormy. The 6ft 13s from 340 reading at Waimea (if correct) suggests an increment of this energy in the afternoon.
Still sets in the harbor.
Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
Fetches map (circles legend: red: direct aim, blue: angular spreading, black: blocked, yellow: possibly over the ice sheet) from Windy.
